Human height is a phenotype that exibits a multitude of variations in the human population. This illustrates__

a) basic mendelian genetics

b) incomplete dominance

c) multiple allleles

d) polygenic inheritance

e) codominance

I'm leaning towards (D)

Human height is a phenotype that exibits a multitude of variations in the human population. This illustrates__
me too, since poly means multiple
Reply:hmmm..... actually i thought yes definately d.. but now i think, i think it could be multiple alleles??

Cos it's mutiple alleles for hair colour and eye colour... which show varying degrees of colour etc...... so....

i cant remember what polygenic is! :S
Reply:Height is a quantitative character which usually indicates polygenic inheritance. Many different genes control the phenotypic trait of height. So D would be the answer.
