Can someone please give me a example on how can i conclude this paper??

Spartan women had more freedom and more rights than any other women in a civilization or city-state in Greece. I would be talking about the reasons why Spartan women had more freedom then other women in Greece. I picked this topic because I thought it would be interesting to know why was there so much difference between Spartan women and women from other Greek city-states. I think that all women should have had this type of freedom because women are women there really is no difference between them. The following would be reasons of the differences that Spartan women had with other Greek women.

“Spartan women could own as much property as they wanted or as much as they could afford but Athenian women had a forbidden amount” (A.263). Personally I wouldn’t want to own a lot of property because of the responsibility so I think that women shouldn’t own property unless it’s by inheritance. “Women in Sparta would be treated equally with men and in other city-states women had to be treated so much less” (B.56). I don’t think this is fair because women should be treated equally with men maybe women wont be able to complete a task as easy or as fast as men but they can still get the job done. “Even Spartan women when they were little girls they would still have more freedom for example male children at age 7 they would have to go to work but female children would still have the choice to just play around”(C.78). I really don’t have anything to say about this only that I believe male children should have the choice if they want to go to work.

“Spartan women had more education because they would be taught how to read and write” (D). I think this would be unfair because education should be for everyone and not to a certain number of people. “Spartan women could leave their house whenever they wanted or desired but other women could only leave their house if there was a special occasion going on” (A.264). I believe that this was pretty unfair because basically it’s like kidnapping the women. “Usually men have total ownership of his wife but men who were married to Spartan women would have very little ownership and was so little property of his”(B.57). I actually think this is fair because when a women gets married they should know how to take care of themselves and they shouldn’t need a man to own her and take over her.

“Spartan women had the decision on what sport they want to play or compete in usually in other city-states women aren’t allowed to play sports”(C.79). I think that not only Spartan women but all women should be able to play whatever sport they want. “Spartan women could leave or divorce their husband if she felt that he wasn’t doing his job as a warrior in the army, Spartan women had the right to kill her son if he wasn’t very successful in war”(D). I think this fair but I really don’t agree about the women killing her son because its her child and no one should kill their own blood. “Greek women had to work alot and they had a certain time they needed to have their work done but the Spartan women could do it whenever they wanted” (A.264). I disbelieve this is fair because while everyone is working hard Spartans are having fun.

“Spartan women had the right to own racehorses and luckily there were victorious at festivals and other women couldn’t own anything”(B.64). I think all women should have the right to own something. “Spartan women had less time to take care of their sons because it was only until the boy turns 7 and other women would basically take care of the son until he could go on by himself or he gets married”(C.75). I don’t have anything to say about this one only that all women should take care of their children for as long as they can. “Since men were warriors they spent most of their time in army so they were barely at home which meant that the women would take charge of everything outside of army and would own the third of what the husband owned.

In conclusion Spartan women had more freedom in ancient Greece than any other women in a Greek city-state.

Can someone please give me a example on how can i conclude this paper??
It is without argument that the historical record articulates succinctly, that Spartan women made the case for the feminist movement in ancient times to the present day. They were successful, prosperous and most importantly decision makers in their society. And so, the feminist pioneers like Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Mary McCleod Bethune and other women of this ilk through the centuries have largely championed the rights of Spartan women of which we all owe a debt of gratitude. We must make sure their contribution to civilization is never forgotten. How is that for an ending?
Reply:I don't understand the ways, or rights of Spartan women. I know that they did not live fairly. They had way More rights and privileges than other Greece women. That's just a part of history we may never understand.
Reply:...and more freedom than any other women in history until the civil rights act in the United States.

( I would look up the exact date that women obtained the right to vote..this is a good point )
Reply:You have correctly pointed out why women had greater rights in Ancient Sparta...now you need to comment on the reason for these rights. Was the trade-off worth it? By trade-off I mean the fact that women only had these rights because Sparta was a warrior state--slaves outnumbered free citizens in Sparta nearly 10-1!

A similar situation occured in the modern West when women achieved greater rights (and responsibilities) during the World Wars (because the men were gone). Was the trade-off a good one? Were women actually given greater rights, or simply greater responsibilities?

Maybe you could finish your paper by commenting on this aspect of the topic.
Reply:i cant read
Reply:Spartan women had more freedoms out of necessity. My Spartan soldiers lived in the barracks with the other men even after marriage and were seldom with the family. In order for the society to function women were required to run the household in the mens absence. (7-year old boys did not go to work, they went to live in the barracks as well, this was military service, not a regular job).

My Athenian men lived in the home with the family and thus maintained their status as the head of the household. Women were therefore not afforded the same status as Spartan women.

Why are you asking so much about my city-states? Why do you want to know? Did Darius send you?
