Is Alastair Darling Doing A Good Job?

I think he is doing a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances. He's just been a bit unlucky with the Northern Rock problem and the now the missing discs, that's all. Oh, and he didn't really nick the Conservatives policy of Inheritance Tax, that's just propaganda. He also hasn't made a complete c*ck-up of Captial Gains Tax despite what the papers are saying. He should not be forced to resign and must push on. How do you think he's doing?

Reply:see your point these problems are not directly his fault and he should allowed to continue and try and fix this mess.....but come election time i dont think we'll be discussing him doing this job anymore cos labour totally letting the country down
Reply:We voted him in to do a job....we should be quiet and let him get on with that job - to make Britain a fairer, safer, better place.
